Reflection
Today, I continued entering the bank-in and bank-paid
transactions from August to October for a client’s company. While working, I
also helped a colleague resolve an issue with an imbalance in the debtor aging
report, which recorded trade payables in Excel. It was interesting to see how
these aging reports play a role in audit preparation. Working together to find
the error gave me a better understanding of how small mistakes can affect the
overall balance and how important it is to double-check records. I also felt
more confident collaborating and contributing to the team’s work, which made
the experience more rewarding.
