Week 20 Day 100 (22 Aug  2025) Activity -  Continued checking the old client’s accounts by printing the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement to confirm whether the profit/loss tallied with my manual calculations. Key Learning -  Strengthened my ability to reconcile old records with the P&L, which required more focus because of the outdated nature of the accounts. - Learned that old accounts often involve extra challenges, like missing or unclear details, which make accuracy even more important. - Realized that even when dealing with past records, careful checking plays a big role in maintaining financial reliability. Reflection Reaching Day 100 of my internship feels meaningful, even though I’m still dealing with the old accounts. Sometimes it feels like a never-ending process, but at the same time, I know this kind of work is training me to be more patient and detail oriented. Printing out the P&L and comparing it with my manual calculations made me reali...

Week 20 Day 99 (21 Aug  2025) Activity -  Communicated with foreign clients to explain more about corporate information. I was also guided by Ms. Amber to learn about import/export payment terms such as Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and Bankers’ Acceptance (BA), and how these terms relate to client information for clearing customs when importing materials. - Continued checking my current client’s accounts by printing the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement to confirm whether the profit/loss tallied with my manual calculations. Key Learning -  Gained new knowledge about international trade payment terms (LC, TT, BA) and how they are applied in real business transactions, especially for import/export processes. - Improved my understanding of financial accuracy by comparing system-generated P&L statements with manual profit calculations, which helps strengthen my attention to detail. - Learned the importance of linking corporate information w...

Key Learning -  Learned how to confirm unsold cars in earlier months (Jan–May) and ensure they are carried forward correctly to the next financial year. - Gained a better understanding of practical issues related to e-invoicing and how to resolve client queries. - Improved communication skills when handling foreign clients by giving clear explanations and preparing invoices according to their needs.   Week 20 Day 97 (19 Aug  2025) Activity -  Continued rechecking the cars that needed to be carried forward to the following year because they were not sold within the financial year by clarifying questions I had previously accumulated with the client mainly focusing on June and October records. Key Learning -  Learned how to identify and confirm which cars must be carried forward into the next financial year. - Understood the importance of double-checking with clients to avoid missing or wrong information. - Realized that proper clarification helps make financial reports more accurate. Reflection Today I still focused on the carry forward cars, but this time looking at June and October records. At first, I thought I already had most of the answers, but when I asked the client again, I realized some details were not clear before. This taught me that it is better to ask twice than to assume, especially when it involves records that affect the financial year. The tas...

Key Learning -  Strengthened my ability to review and verify COGS systematically while managing large volumes of records. - Learned how to properly issue invoices for foreign clients, including how SST registration fees are communicated. - Understood the importance of identifying unsold assets, such as cars, and ensuring they are carried forward correctly to the following year for accurate reporting. - Practiced client c...
