Reflection
Today was
quite stressful as the pressure of deadlines started to build up. I’ve been
trying to balance the accounts for a client since last week, and despite
putting in a lot of time and effort, I still haven’t managed to resolve the
imbalance in the general ledger and balance sheet. It’s frustrating and makes
me question whether I’m approaching it the right way. On top of that, both Mr.
Lim and Ms. Chan assigned me a new task today—to start the full accounting
process for another client. When I found out that all the accounting work I’ve
been assigned needs to be completed by the end of June, I felt even more
tension and worry.
It’s
starting to feel like the workload is piling up faster than I can keep up with,
especially when the tasks are so detail-oriented and time-consuming. I’m afraid
that I won’t be able to finish everything on time or meet expectations.
However, I know that moments like these are part of the learning journey. I’m
trying to stay calm, take things step by step, and not let the pressure get the
best of me. I also remind myself that it’s okay to ask for help and that every
challenge I face is making me more resilient and capable.
