Reflection
Today I continued
working on the bank reconciliation statements for the second bank account,
covering the months from June to October. Compared to the first bank account,
this one had more frequent transactions, which required me to be extra careful
while matching each entry with the payment vouchers and bank statements. Some
transactions were unclear, which made the process more time-consuming. Besides
that, I sent an email to the company’s secretary requesting some documents
needed for accounting purposes. Communicating professionally through email like
this is something I’m getting more comfortable with as I gain more exposure.
Although the work was repetitive, I’ve come to realize how crucial bank
reconciliation is in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and maintaining
clean, audit-ready accounts.
