Reflection
Today was quite packed with responsibilities, and although I didn’t
manage to complete all the new tasks, I did take the time to review each of
them carefully. I started by continuing my work on the contra account, checking
if the payments made on behalf of clients matched the corresponding bank-in
records. It took some effort to trace everything properly, but I’m gradually
getting better at identifying discrepancies. I also made corrections in a
client’s Form B and amended some figures in a previous task given by Mr. Lim
after the client submitted new expenses. Then, I received two new tasks
preparing a payroll summary for PCB audit from Ms. Amber and completing a
rental income statement from Mr. Lim. Since both were new and important tasks,
I didn’t rush into them. Instead, I used today to study the documents,
understand what was required, and plan how I will approach them.
Even though I didn’t finish everything, I felt that taking the time to
understand the tasks was necessary, especially since these jobs carry a lot of
responsibility. It was a reminder that sometimes reviewing and planning
carefully is just as important as completing the work itself.
