Reflection
Today I focused on wrapping up some of the urgent and pending
tasks from yesterday. I started by keying in the payroll summary and preparing
it to be sent to the client for confirmation and stamping. I knew this was
important for the PCB audit, so I was very careful. Then I continued working on
the rental income report — it’s a bit different from the usual accounting
tasks, but I’m starting to understand how to analyze and report this kind of
income more confidently.
After reviewing my previous work, Ms. Chan pointed out a
few adjustments I needed to make. Once I corrected the errors, I generated the
updated bank reconciliation. It was satisfying to see the figures align after
the changes. I also went back to finish checking the contra account entries.
Although it can be tiring to jump between so many different tasks, I’m learning
how to prioritize and handle pressure more effectively. Each day brings
something new, and I can feel myself becoming more independent in handling
accounting responsibilities.
