Reflection
Today was quite
productive and filled with various tasks that gave me exposure to different
aspects of accounting and administrative responsibilities. I began by printing
and preparing client documents, which helped me appreciate how important proper
documentation is for both the company and the clients. Then I moved on to a new
client’s account, where I had to edit account codes, it required focus to
ensure accuracy from the beginning especially when setting up for a new client.
One of the highlights of the day was learning how to assist in registering a
client for statutory bodies like KWSP, SOCSO, and EIS. Although the forms
seemed straightforward at first, I realized the details must be accurate to
ensure smooth processing. It made me understand more about the regulatory side
of business operations. Overall, it was a well-rounded day that reminded me how
accounting involves both numbers and compliance work.
