Reflection
I continued with the journal entries from January to March 2025 and then
cross-checked all the entries before printing them out for filing. It was a
good feeling to complete a full year’s worth of entries and see everything
organized and ready for review. In the afternoon, I amended an earlier client's
account in UBS after Ms. Amber pointed out some mistakes she noticed while
preparing for an audit. This was a learning opportunity for me to understand
how accounting accuracy plays a key role in the auditing process. Later, Ms.
Amber guided me on how to issue an invoice from our company system and
introduced me to preparing an audit schedule. It was my first time learning
about audit schedules, and I found it very useful—it’s a great way to review
and verify whether all the accounts are accurate and complete. I really
appreciated her guidance today and felt like I’m progressing to a more advanced
level of accounting work.
