Reflection
Today, I spent most
of the time continuing the sales entry for the client I left pending last week.
As I worked through the documents, I realized how important it is for clients
to organize their records properly. The documents I received were not arranged
in any sequence, and it made my job much more difficult and time-consuming. I
had to double-check every invoice number and match them manually. It was a bit
frustrating at first, but I also realized that this is part of the reality in
accounting which is not everything comes to us perfectly sorted. It tested my
patience and attention to detail.
In the process of
handling KWSP and PERKESO registrations, I also became more aware of the
administrative responsibilities involved in accounting. Sending emails to
request Form 9 and 49 may seem like a small task, but it’s actually a crucial
step that ensures the client’s compliance. Today reminded me that being an
accountant also means being resourceful, proactive, and thorough because of that
small mistakes can lead to big consequences if not caught early. I felt more
responsible and motivated to improve my communication and document handling
skills moving forward.
