Reflection
Today was a good reminder of how flexible and responsive we need to be in accounting work. I had to redo the KWSP form due to an official update, which meant communicating again with the client and arranging for a second signing. Although it seemed like a minor hiccup, it taught me how important it is to stay updated with government requirements. Besides, I started feeling a bit stressed and overwhelmed. The client sent their documents quite late, yet the due date for submission is approaching quickly — 15 July. With so many files to go through and tasks to complete, I honestly worry if I can finish everything on time. The pressure is definitely building.
On top of that, this client runs a relatively large business involving car sales and purchases, something I’ve never handled before. It’s a new kind of challenge for me, and because I don’t have much experience with this type of business, I feel even more uncertain. There’s a lot of unfamiliar information and I know it will take time to fully understand and process it correctly. Despite the stress, I remind myself that every new experience is part of my learning journey. Even though it’s difficult, I’m trying to stay calm and approach each part one step at a time. Hopefully, with good time management and support from my colleagues, I can push through and complete everything accurately and on schedule.
