W15 Day 72 of Nana's Internship

Week 15 Day 72 (15 Jul 2025)
Activity
- Settled KWSP (EPF) matters for a client since today was the final day for EPF, SOCSO, and EIS submission. I assisted with the KWSP registration issue, where the client did not receive the activation code, requiring extra follow-up and coordination.
- Continued keying in the bank paid transactions for May 2024, but the task remains incomplete and pending.
- Amended accounting records for another client to recalculate tax payable, as there were adjustments needed in the income and expense records.
Key Learning
- I learned how to troubleshoot issues with KWSP registration, especially when clients face system problems like not receiving the activation code. I realized the importance of following up promptly and knowing the alternative solutions.
- I gained more insight into how tax payable is affected by adjustments in account records. Even small changes in income or deductible expenses can significantly alter the final tax amount.
- Time management is critical when working close to deadlines which is I need to prioritize tasks more effectively and always have a buffer in case of unexpected issues.
Reflection
Today
felt a little tense due to the submission deadline for KWSP, SOCSO, and EIS. I
was responsible for helping resolve a registration issue, and it made me
realize how even minor technical delays can create big problems when deadlines
are tight. I felt a sense of pressure but also motivation to act fast and
responsibly. Meanwhile, juggling tasks like bank data entry and account
amendments reminded me how much attention to detail is needed in this field.
Although I couldn’t finish the bank paid task, I’m learning to pace myself
better while still meeting key priorities. The experience pushed me to think
more proactively and stay calm even under pressure — something I believe will
really help me in my future career.
