W17 Day 82 of Nana's Internship

Week 17 Day 82 (29 Jul 2025)

Activity

Continued checking all the transactions with other files to verify whether my records were accurate or if there were any missing transactions. This included reviewing personal claims from January until May 2024.

- Reviewed broker and commission, EPF, SOCSO, PCB, and the business owner's advances to the company for 2024.

Key Learning

Strengthened my ability to analyze and cross-check multiple accounts simultaneously.

- Gained a deeper understanding of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB) and their impact on overall accounts.

- Learned to manage time better while handling complex and detailed account verification tasks.

Reflection

Today’s work felt particularly detailed as I handled a mix of personal claims and statutory contributions, along with verifying advances made by the business owner. The variety of items made the process more challenging because each category had its own way of recording and verifying, but I found it interesting to see how everything ties together in the accounts. There were times I felt a little pressured to keep up with the volume of work, especially when comparing records across different files. However, I reminded myself that patience and focus are essential to avoid mistakes. I also realized that understanding the nature of each transaction made the checking process smoother and more accurate. This day reinforced for me that consistency and attention to detail are key in producing reliable financial records.
