W18 Day 89 of Nana's Internship

Activity
- Continued cross-checking my previous records with the cost of goods sold (COGS) based on the car sales records provided by the business owner, which were organized separately by car plate numbers, still focusing on the months of November and December 2024 due to some earlier confusion in matching the data.
- Conducted research on SST registration in preparation for registering clients.
Key Learning
- Learned the importance of organizing cost of goods sold data by specific identifiers such as car plate numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability in financial records.
- Gained a clearer understanding of the SST registration requirements, including eligibility thresholds, documentation needed, and timelines for submission.
Reflection
Today’s
work reminded me how even small misunderstandings in record matching can create
unnecessary delays. I was still going through the November and December 2024
records, this time with extra care to untangle earlier points of confusion. It
was admittedly repetitive at times, but each check brought a little more
clarity and confidence in the accuracy of the data. On the other side of my
tasks, I switched gears to research SST registration, exploring the process,
requirements, and practical steps involved. This not only gave me a clearer
understanding of how it works but also prepared me to assist clients more
effectively in the future. Overall, it felt like a balanced day—part
persistence in clearing up old discrepancies, part expanding my knowledge in tax
compliance.
