W25 Day 125 of Nana's Internship

Activity
- Communicated with the LHDN officer and sent an inquiry email to the person in charge of the client’s case in LHDN.
- Continued checking and keying in the bank statement data, then generated the bank reconciliation for the period of August 2017 until May 2018.
Key Learning
- Learned how to properly communicate with LHDN officers and handle formal inquiries through email.
- Improved my skills in handling old bank statement data and ensuring the reconciliation process is accurate.
Reflection
Today
felt a bit intense because dealing with government officers like those from
LHDN requires being extra careful with words and details. When I sent the
inquiry email, I made sure it was clear and professional, since any
misunderstanding could delay the case. It was a good practice in communication
that I know will be useful in my future career. On the accounting side, going
through old bank statements from 2017 to 2018 was quite tiring but also gave me
a sense of accomplishment when I managed to generate the reconciliation
properly. It reminded me that even though the process feels repetitive, every
step is important to make sure the accounts are reliable. I realized that
patience and accuracy really go hand in hand in this field, and I’m slowly
getting used to balancing both.
