W27 Day 135 of Nana's Internship

Week 27 Day 135 (10 October 2025)

Activity

Generated the bank reconciliation and checked for any missing records for the period of August 2018 to October 2018.

- Reviewed and confirmed outstanding balances for other clients, then updated Mr. Lim and communicated with the company secretary to verify whether the customers still had outstanding amounts with them.

- Handed over all my pending and follow-up work to Ms. Amber as today marked my final day of internship.

Key Learning

Learned the importance of completing a proper handover process and ensuring smooth communication before leaving any project.

- Understood the value of accuracy and responsibility when finalizing client information and handling outstanding confirmations.

- Realized how teamwork and coordination among colleagues like Ms. Amber, Ms. Chan, and Mr. Lim help maintain an organized workflow and strong support system.

Reflection

Today marked the end of my internship journey, and it was honestly an emotional day. While finishing the last few reconciliation tasks and handing over my pending work to Ms. Amber, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much I’ve grown since the first day I started. Back then, I was quite nervous and unsure about many things, but through the guidance of Ms. Amber, Mr. Lim, and Ms. Chan, I learned step by step, not only about accounting work but also about how to think critically, stay organized, and communicate better in a real working environment. I also realized how every person in the team plays an important role, and how teamwork makes even the most challenging tasks manageable. Saying goodbye felt bittersweet because I’ve learned so much and built good relationships with everyone here. I’m truly grateful for their patience, trust, and willingness to teach me. This internship gave me real working experience and confidence that I’ll carry forward into my future career.
