Key Learning -  Learned the importance of carefully performing amendments and ensuring that updated work is always backed up to maintain data security. - Gained more confidence in handling cash vouchers systematically across different months and understood how they affect financial statements.   Week 26 Day 126 (29 September  2025) Activity -  Continued checking statements and preparing the bank reconciliation for the period of June 2018 until July 2018. - Keyed in the payment vouchers that were paid by cash for the period of August 2017 until September 2018. Key Learning -  Learned how to carefully handle cash payment vouchers to ensure they are recorded in the right period. - Improved understanding of how bank reconciliation links to both cash and cheque transactions. Reflection Today’s work felt a little challenging because I had to deal with two different sets of records at once which is bank reconciliations and cash payment vouchers. It took extra focus to make sure everything tallied properly, especially since the transactions spanned across different months and years.   Week 25 Day 125 (26 September  2025) Activity -  Communicated with the LHDN officer and sent an inquiry email to the person in charge of the client’s case in LHDN. - Continued checking and keying in the bank statement data, then generated the bank reconciliation for the period of August 2017 until May 2018. Key Learning -     Learned how to properly communicate with LHDN officers and handle formal inquiries through email. - Improved my skills in handling old bank statement data and ensuring the reconciliation process is accurate. Reflection Today felt a bit intense because dealing with government officers like those from LHDN requires being extra careful with words and details. When I sent the inquiry email, I made sure it was clear and professional, since any misunderstanding could delay the case.   Week 25 Day 124 (25 September  2025) Activity -  Backed up all the SQL data I had completed earlier into a folder after a scary incident in the morning when a memory full error popped up, and upon logging in again, the data seemed to be gone. - Assisted Ms. Chan by preparing a summary for a client regarding her commission received in her personal bank account, recording everything neatly in Excel. - Continued tallying Ms. Chan’s account works with the bank statement and generated the bank reconciliation. - Communicated with a client to follow up on whether the necessary signatures had been completed and confirmed if we could collect the documents. Key Learning -  Learned how to continue and maintain consistency in account records when taking over tasks from others. - Understood the process of cross-checking supplier statements with payment vouchers to avoid discrepancies. - Improved my analytical skills by comparing current entries with previous records to ensure no errors were carried forward.
